・Kaohsiung Municipal Kai-Syuan Psychiatric Hospital offers Methadone Maintenance Therapy to assist heroin addicts in withdrawing from drugs. This therapy uses methadone as a substitute for heroin, providing longer-lasting effects with once-daily dosage. The program includes both government-funded and self-paying options. The government-funded program primarily targets individuals confirmed as HIV-positive or those who undergo a blood test at the hospital. Applicants must schedule an appointment for a physician's assessment to determine eligibility for enrollment.
